Our Return & Refund Policy

John’s Loan & Jewelry Co.

 

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your jewelry or general merchandise order, we accept returns within 15 days of the delivery date, subject to the terms outlined below.

Please Note: This policy applies to Jewelry and General Merchandise only.

1. RETURN ELIGIBILITY (15-DAY WINDOW)

To be eligible for a return, you must contact us and initiate the return process within 15 days of the date your package was delivered (as confirmed by the tracking number).

 

Condition Requirements:

  • Items must be returned in the exact condition in which they were received.
  • Jewelry must be unworn, unaltered, and undamaged.
  • All original packaging, boxes, certificates of authenticity, and grading papers (if applicable) must be included.
  • Security Tags: If an item was shipped with a security tag/barbell tag attached, it must still be attached and uncut. Returns will not be accepted if the tag has been removed.
 

2. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are Final Sale and cannot be returned:

  • Bullion & Coins: Due to the volatile nature of the precious metals market, all sales of Gold Coins, Silver Coins, Bullion, and currency are FINAL. We cannot accept returns on these items as their value fluctuates daily.
  • Altered Items: Any jewelry that has been resized, engraved, repaired, or modified by a third-party jeweler after purchase.
  • Custom Work: Any item that was custom-made or specially ordered for you.
  • Damaged Items: Items that show signs of wear, damage, or abuse incurred after delivery.
  • Firearms: As per federal regulation and store policy, all firearm sales are final.
 

3. RETURN PROCESS

Please follow these steps to return an item:

  • Request a Return: Before shipping anything back, you must contact us to receive approval.
  •  
  • Packaging: Securely pack the item in its original box. Please include a copy of your receipt or order confirmation inside the package.
  • Shipping: You are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • We highly recommend shipping via UPS or USPS Priority Mail with tracking and insurance for the full value of the item.
  • John’s Loan & Jewelry Co. is not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in transit.

4. REFUNDS & FEES

Once your return is received and inspected by our team (usually within 1-3 business days of receipt), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Restocking Fee: A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover handling, inspection, and cleaning.
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Refund Method: Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment (Credit Card). Please allow 5-10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.
 

5. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you received an item that is damaged, defective, or legally not what was described on our website, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery).
In these specific cases:

  • We will waive the restocking fee.
  • We will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
  • You will receive a full refund or a replacement (if available).
